If I don't like the game, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no. Because each activation key is a unique digital product that can only be used once, we are unable to offer refunds simply because a game did not meet your expectations. Once a key has been delivered to your account, your right of withdrawal under applicable consumer law is lost (please see our Refund Policy). However, if your key does not work or the game does not match the product description, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase — we will either provide a replacement key or issue a refund under our Quality Guarantee."
How can I check whether a game supports multiplayer, Steam achievements or specific features?
You can find this information on the product page in the Features section. If a feature is not listed there, it is not confirmed by the publisher.
Can I buy a game as a gift for someone else?
Yes. Once you complete the purchase, the activation key is delivered to your account and you may share it with the recipient. Please note that each key can be activated only once and binds the game to the first account that redeems it. After activation, the key cannot be transferred to another account, so we recommend sharing it directly with the intended recipient. If you would like to keep the gift a surprise, simply send them the key once you are ready.
What if I can't find a game I want? Can I request it?
If a title is not listed on Googolsell, it usually means we cannot source it from our authorised distributors. You can still let us know which game you are looking for by emailing [email protected] — we will check whether it can be added to our catalogue and notify you if it becomes available.
I've bought a game — where do I find my activation key?
Your activation keys are available in the Orders section of My Account. Sign in with the email address you used at checkout. Once verified, you will see the key for each completed order. If you do not see your order, please check your spam folder for our confirmation email or contact us at [email protected].
When will a game be available to buy or play?
Release dates are set by the publisher, so we publish them only once they are officially confirmed. If a game appears in our store with the status 'Out of stock' or 'Coming Soon', you can subscribe to availability alerts by clicking the bell icon on the product page. We will email you as soon as the game becomes available.
What does 'activation region' mean?
Most game keys can only be activated and played in specific countries — this is called the activation region and is set by the publisher. For example, an EU key will work in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, while a Global key works worldwide. The activation region for each title is shown on the product page. If you are unsure whether a key will work in your country, please check the product page or contact support before purchasing.
I'm buying a pre-order for the first time — how does it work?

A pre-order lets you reserve a game before its official release. Once you complete payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your order page, which shows a countdown until release. Your activation key is delivered automatically on the release day, usually at 00:00 GMT. You can cancel a pre-order up to three (3) days before the release date — see our Refund Policy for details.

Do you sell game accounts, in-game items or cosmetic skins?
No. We only sell official, licensed activation keys for full games and downloadable content (DLC). We do not sell game accounts, in-game currency, cosmetic items or skins.
Payments
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). The full list of available payment methods, including any additional options, is shown at checkout once you add a product to your cart.
Can I pay for an item using my Steam Wallet?
No. Steam Wallet funds can only be used within the Steam client itself. On Googolsell, payments are accepted only through the methods listed at checkout.
How do I cancel a pre-order?
You can cancel a pre-order up to three (3) days before the release date, provided the activation key has not yet been delivered. To request cancellation, go to the order page in My Account and use the Refund option. If you do not see this option, please contact us at [email protected] with your order number. Cancellation is not possible after the activation key has been issued.
Is it safe to pay by card on your website?
Yes. Card payments on Googolsell are processed by PCI DSS compliant payment providers over a secure encrypted connection. We do not store full card details on our servers. All card transactions are protected by 3-D Secure (Visa Secure and Mastercard Identity Check), which adds an extra verification step to confirm that you are the legitimate cardholder.
Are there any payment processing fees on top of the product price?
The final amount you pay is shown at checkout once you select a payment method. Most card payments are charged at the displayed price with no additional fee. Some payment methods or currency conversions performed by your bank may carry additional charges, which are determined by your bank or payment provider and are not collected by us.
Can I buy multiple items at once, add them to my cart?
Yes. You can add as many games as you like to your cart and pay for them in a single transaction. Each activation key will be delivered to My Account once payment is confirmed.
Problems
My activation key shows that the game is not available in my region. What do I do?
Most games have an activation region set by the publisher, which is shown on the product page and again before checkout. If you receive a region error after activation, please first check that your account region matches the region indicated for the game. If the regions match but the key still does not work, contact us at [email protected] with your order number and a screenshot of the error within 14 days of purchase. We will check the issue and, where applicable, replace the key or issue a refund under our Quality Guarantee.
I paid for a game but didn't receive a confirmation email, and the order isn't in My Account. What happened?
Please try the following steps. First, check the spam or junk folder of the email address you used at checkout — confirmation emails sometimes end up there. Second, sign in to My Account and open the Orders section; completed orders appear there with the activation key. Third, double-check that the email address you entered at checkout is spelled correctly. If you cannot find the order after these checks, please contact us at [email protected] with the date of purchase, the amount paid and the email address you used — we will locate the transaction and deliver the key.
What can I do if a game crashes, freezes or won't launch?
Technical issues with a game are usually caused by the user's system or by the game itself, and are best handled by the game publisher's support team. As a first step, we recommend the following: (1) update your graphics drivers and operating system; (2) check that your hardware meets the game's minimum system requirements; (3) lower the in-game graphics settings; (4) close other resource-heavy applications; (5) verify the game files via the relevant launcher (e.g. Steam → right-click the game → Properties → Verify integrity of game files). If the issue persists, please contact the publisher's official support — they have access to game-specific troubleshooting tools.
